Kinetic Energy (Topic:Energy and Its Conversions)

What is Kinetic Energy?

  • Kinetic Energy is the energy that moving objects have.
  • They can be found in both living things and non-living things.
  • The faster an object moves, the more kinetic energy it has.

The amount of Kinetic Energy an object has depends on:

  • The mass of the moving object;
  • The speed of the moving object.

An object at rest has no kinetic energy. For example, a stationary ball or a person standing still on the ground has no kinetic energy.

Kinetic Energy is also called as movement energy.

Welcome to the P6 Science Revision Notes Blog.

I am simply known as THE Revision Guy. I will be your guide throughout this journey.

Science truly is a difficult topic, but we can go through this obstacle together.
